Caption Contest Winner Announced!

Our fans have chosen the winner of the 9 Beaches Caption Contest. More than 2,000 people weighed in and voted on the top ten phrases submitted to 9 Beaches to describe the resort. The overwhelming favorite aptly names 9 Beaches “an unassuming paradise.”

Shannon E. has won a free 3 nights’ stay at 9 Beaches!

Guests came up with a wonderful array of descriptions for the uniquely ultra-casual resort experience – “Heaven on Earth for the Down to Earth,” “Sun-Kissed Peaceful Bliss,” “Back to Nature,” “Perfect Beach Style Wedding,” “Get Away From it ALL,” and “Bermuda WOW!” to name a few. All the finalists received one of the hotel’s most popular logo items - a free 9 Beaches hat.

9 Beaches is an understated paradise providing an unparalleled Bermuda experience for the right traveler – adventurous, water sports lovers. The spectacular beaches, big sky sunrises and sunsets, and relaxed atmosphere make a dreamy vacation for the ultra casual. Luxury seekers should vacation elsewhere. Bermuda Music Festival

The Bermuda Music Festival was a hit! Four spectacular nights of music from perfomers such as The O’Jays, Chrisette Michele, Lionel Richie, Natasha Bedingfield, Smokey Robinson and Earth, Wind & Fire, and was hosted by comedian Steve Harvey (again) because boy, is he funny!

Guests Angela Thomas, Barbara Devine, Gwyn Jones, and Audrey Burgher came to Bermuda from Philadelphia, PA for the first time ever to see the Bermuda Music Festival, and their favorite performer - Smokey Robinson!

They loved 9 Beaches and can’t wait to come back again for next year’s Music Festival. Their favorite part? Listening to the water as they fell asleep in their cabana.
